Customer Spotlight: Northeast Johnson County Chamber of Commerce Office Relocation

We recently helped the Northeast Johnson County (NEJC) Chamber of Commerce with their office move to 5115 Roe Blvd, Suite 100, Roeland Park, KS 66205. As you can imagine, there are countless things you have to keep track of when you move to a new office location. Furniture, computers, where the team will be sitting in the new location, utilities and more. One of those important checklist items is the business phone system. And after years of working together, they knew we would help them make a seamless transition.
Our technician met them at their old location and helped them disconnect the VoIP phones. In many of our installations, an ethernet cable in the office or cubicle is connected to their phone, and another ethernet cable goes from the phone to their computer. This was the case for the NEJC Chamber, so we helped them disconnect everything. And then we met them at their new location to hook everything back up once the computers and phones arrived.
We worked primarily with Stoney Bogan, the Director of Business Development for the NEJC Chamber of Commerce. He was really happy with the level of service we provided on both ends of the move. He told us, “Avid’s service is great and we love the business VoIP phone system that they provide and support. They helped simplify the chaotic process of moving to a new location. The process was seamless and we really appreciated not worrying about that aspect of the move.”
We also worked with Nathan Maxwell at CCI who does their IT support. We had to coordinate technical things like updating the firewall configuration so everything would work at the new location. This was critical to the “seamless move” that Stoney was talking about.
