Customer Spotlight: Wandering Vine at the Castle

All across Europe, landmark castles that were once foreboding fortresses have been re-imagined as welcoming destinations for travel, food, wine, and fun. And the Wandering Vine is bringing that same excitement to Kansas City. For over one-hundred years, Kansas City’s landmark castle has been a part of this town’s history. Wandering Vine is its newest incarnation, and their warm and inviting hospitality makes The Castle the perfect place for honoring old traditions and creating new experiences.

Restaurants have really been struggling. And Wandering Vine opened in the middle of the pandemic. Carla & Dan Dyer worked hard to make their restaurant a safe place to eat and drink with friends and family.

Phones that work.

One of the things new businesses must plan for is a phone system that will support the way they want to work. Avid’s business VoIP hosted phone solution was exactly what Wandering Vine needed. It helped that they already had Google Fiber to the castle. One of the unique things we did during this installation was configuring the auto-attendant to help with reservations. Reservations can be made through the phone system which ultimately delivers an email to the staff at Wandering Vine.
