Avid Joins Forces with ALLO Communications
We are excited to announce that we have been acquired by ALLO Communications, a Lincoln, Nebraska-based provider of advanced telecommunications services and builder of gigabit communities using state-of-the-art fiber-optics.
Avid will become a subsidiary of ALLO and retain its brand identity.
Avid’s current leadership team of TJ Sauder, David Hollingsworth and Dave Scott will continue to lead the company and its 35 associates, and, along with several ALLO representatives, will join a newly formed board overseeing the Avid operations.
Many of you know that Avid is one of the Midwest’s largest providers of cloud-based VoIP phone services. We also offer internet, cybersecurity, managed Wi-Fi and managed IT services for businesses. By building a businesses’ communication infrastructure and controlling costs, we have always helped our customers increase efficiency and simplify day-to-day operations. These are the capabilities that drew the attention of the ALLO team.

Avid was founded in Kansas City, MO, in 2005 and began servicing customers with 24/7 live, local, and free customer support in 2006. Since then, they have helped thousands of businesses make the switch to a VoIP phone system. Four years ago Avid began offering next-gen firewalls and sophisticated cybersecurity services and in 2021 began delivering managed IT services through its True Owl division.
