Your friendly neighborhood telecom pros have a new base of operations!

We recently had some excitement here at Avid, as in April we moved from our office on Southwest Boulevard to a new building in Mission.
Over the years, Avid has called many buildings around Kansas City home. We last wrote about a move when we moved to 500 Southwest Boulevard in downtown KC. The space on Southwest Boulevard has served us well for the last few years, but we’ve gotten to the point again that our growing team needs some extra space to spread our wings.
We’ve added significant resources to support the rapid growth in new services including Cybersecurity, Microsoft Teams Voice solutions and cloud based Contact Center solutions. These, in addition to our cloud based voice solutions, forced us to find a larger space with room to continue to grow.
As some of you are aware, we were recently acquired by ALLO Communications in November. This has been a great opportunity for us to expand our services across the Kansas City area, while fully retaining our Avid personality, and more importantly our unparalleled service.
Enter 6329 Glenwood.
When we were looking for a new space, we wanted a centrally located office that would make it easy for us to meet with prospects and customers all over the KC Metro. We worked with Bob Cattanach with Waterford Property Company. He helped us find a great office space at Metcalf and Shawnee Mission Parkway in Mission.

Avid has always been committed to the greater Kansas City community, and our new nest has made it easier for us to continue that commitment. We have better access to our clients in South Kansas City and Overland Park while remaining close to our friends up north. And the parking is much better!
If you own pets, you know they get fussy when their environment changes. Omie, our mascot, has settled in nicely and is enjoying his new nest.
